Christian Dior Couture seeks a Department Manager in Milan (Montenapoleone) to lead the boutique department, drive sales and coach the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach the department team alongside the Store Manager to develop talent, evaluate performance and cultivate a high-performing sales culture.
  • Drive sales and category performance through briefing, goal setting, KPI tracking and proactive client management of local and international customers.
  • Manage a curated client portfolio and personally cultivate long-term relationships with VIP and key clients, acting as a Dior ambassador.
  • Coordinate product category performance with the Retail Merchandiser and implement action plans to optimize sales and stock turnover.
  • Oversee purchasing, restocking and stock organization (including inventory) for assigned categories to maximize availability and margin.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, operational procedures and service standards; train and supervise staff in correct execution of processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of progressive experience in luxury retail, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing KPIs for a product category within a high-end fashion environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and coach sales teams, with strong leadership and people-development skills.
  • Deep knowledge of luxury fashion product categories, market trends and client expectations; ability to translate this into commercial actions.
  • Fluent English; additional language skills and knowledge of the local market (Italian) are advantageous.
