Christian Dior Couture seeks an experienced Department Manager for its Heathrow Airport boutique in London, UK. Lead a luxury team, manage operations, and exceed sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead by example, mentoring and training the team to develop sales and service techniques
- Support the Area Manager with the development and implementation of local client development strategy
- Build internal relationships to facilitate cross-selling across product universes
- Develop client loyalty through relationship-building with VVIC and Elite clients
- Monitor and improve sales levels within the department
- Handle customer complaints efficiently and effectively
- Support the Area Manager in delivering commercial goals while maintaining compliance with company policies
- Develop relationships with Head Office colleagues to provide feedback on clientele and product performance
- Support stock ordering and management as required
- Lead the store team by organising and delegating daily tasks
- Support recruitment, evaluation, motivation, and development of team members
- Minimise stock losses and store operating expenses
- Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and visual display within the department
- Demonstrate proficiency with selling systems, cash, credit, and exchange procedures
- Maximise security and prevent product theft
- Ensure the store operates in accordance with company administration systems and procedures
- Represent Christian Dior as an ambassador at events when necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience at Department Manager level within luxury fashion
- Proven ability to lead an experienced and capable team
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Strong knowledge of fashion and trends
- An existing client book (preferred)
