Parfums Christian Dior – Demand Planner (M/F) in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. Lead European forecasting and S&OP transformation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead forecasting accuracy and strategic planning for assigned product segments using machine learning and advanced analytics
  • Serve as the central demand planner for European operations while supporting subsidiary teams to ensure compliance with best-practice forecasting and S&OP methodologies
  • Develop deep market and product expertise; align forecasts with marketing strategy, regional market dynamics, and local promotional calendars through close collaboration with commercial teams
  • Prepare and facilitate key S&OP review meetings (product, demand, and supply) with local and central teams to present actionable insights and challenge forecasting assumptions
  • Establish partnership approach with regional markets to build, refine, and validate short- and medium-term forecasts aligned with strategic objectives
  • Conduct rigorous performance analysis, execute monthly reporting cycles, and track key performance indicators (Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Budget Variance); develop and implement proactive corrective action plans
  • Train and coach an international community of Demand Planners on forecasting best practices and process standards, raising capability across the organization
  • Drive business transformation by contributing to the redefinition of forecasting processes and supporting the implementation of process overhauls and new tools

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent higher education qualification
  • Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and oral formats
  • Proficiency in analytical tools (Power BI, Excel); experience with Anaplan is a significant advantage
  • Deep fluency in English, written and spoken, for dynamic international collaboration
  • Supply chain process and project orientation with results-driven mindset and proactive, innovative approach
  • Demonstrated passion for understanding markets, operational challenges, and business drivers
  • Ability to influence decision-making and effectively challenge assumptions through strategic thinking and persuasive communication

Education
