Parfums Christian Dior seeks Country Manager in Athens, Greece to lead market growth and oversee 120-person team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage P&L and annual budget for the Greek market, implementing strategies to enhance profitability and achieve financial targets
- Define and execute comprehensive omnichannel distribution strategy to maximize market coverage and sales growth
- Collaborate with European Commercial team on negotiations with key retailers and business partners to optimize trade terms and ROI
- Manage product forecasting and stock planning to fulfill local market needs
- Analyze sales and financial results, identify KPIs, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure strong understanding of target consumers, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and key customer segments
- Lead creation and execution of innovative 360° product launch and activation plans throughout the year
- Enhance brand awareness through media relations, digital marketing, and strategic influencer partnerships
- Ensure consistent brand image, visual merchandising standards, and premium in-store experiences across all points of sale
- Oversee retail education content, multi-channel training programs, and premium customer journey delivery
- Manage CRM and clienteling initiatives to strengthen customer loyalty and retention
- Lead Greek organization of 120 team members, fostering efficient and high-performing environment
- Serve as role model for people development, engaging in growth and succession planning
- Empower team members through continuous feedback, coaching, and mentorship aligned with organizational goals
- Provide clear objectives, monitor results, and recognize performance to foster accountability
- Act as Maison ambassador, cultivating strong relationships with retailers, press, influencers, VIPs, and strategic partners
- Maintain collaboration with regional stakeholders in alignment with frameworks and guidelines
- Implement action plans to embody Maison core values and social commitments
- Monitor regulatory, economic, social, and geopolitical factors impacting the Greek market
Qualifications
- Minimum 10–15 years of professional experience in luxury goods, perfumes, cosmetics, or related sectors
- At least 10 years of strong sales and commercial expertise; marketing expertise is a plus
- Knowledge of the local Greek market highly valued
- Strategic thinking and operational excellence
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage large teams
- Financial and business acumen with P&L management experience
- Demonstrated collaboration and influence across complex matrix organizations
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- People development and emotional intelligence
- Integrity and alignment with brand values
- Fluency in English; fluency in Greek highly appreciated
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10–15 years of professional experience in commercial and sales leadership within the luxury sector, with at least 10 years of direct sales and commercial expertise. Knowledge of the Greek market and demonstrated success in omnichannel retail environments is highly valued.
Education
Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or related disciplines preferred.
