Christian Dior Couture (Paris) seeks a Commis Chef at 30 Avenue Montaigne — join LVMH to support Restaurant Monsieur Dior, Café and Pâtisserie operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare mise en place and ingredients required for daily service across Restaurant Monsieur Dior, the Café and the Pâtisserie.
- Assist Demi-Chefs de Partie and Chefs de Partie in the preparation, cooking and finishing of menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Execute service in strict compliance with the Maison’s procedures to deliver a flawless guest experience; act as an ambassador of the Maison at the 30 Avenue Montaigne address.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of kitchen areas and equipment in accordance with HACCP standards and internal protocols.
- Participate in goods reception and correct storage of produce following HACCP and Maison procedures, including rotation and cold-room management.
- Manage waste sorting and disposal, and report any safety or accident risks or abnormal situations to line management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ professional kitchen experience, ideally within a luxury restaurant, hotel or haute gastronomy environment.
- Proven knowledge of HACCP principles and safe food handling practices.
- Strong attention to detail with a highly developed sense of service and presentation.
- Organised, creative and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen.
- Professional appearance, punctuality, initiative and autonomy.
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen, preferably within a luxury or high-end hospitality setting, working as a Commis de Cuisine, Junior Cook or similar role.
Education
Vocational culinary qualification (CAP cuisine, BEP or equivalent) or formal culinary training; relevant on-the-job apprenticeships accepted.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
