Christian Dior Couture (Paris) seeks a Commis Chef for its 30 Avenue Montaigne restaurant — full-time on-site role within the LVMH group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare mise en place and execute basic culinary preparations to support the brigade and menu requirements.
- Assist Demi-Chefs de Partie and Chefs de Partie in the production and finishing of dishes according to the restaurant’s standards.
- Ensure flawless service delivery by following the restaurants’ service procedures and directives from line chefs.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and equipment cleanliness in strict compliance with HACCP protocols.
- Receive and inspect deliveries, store goods correctly in cold rooms or storerooms and participate in stock rotation.
- Manage waste sorting and disposal according to house procedures and report any safety or security anomalies to management.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years’ professional kitchen experience, ideally within a luxury hotel, fine-dining restaurant or haute-cuisine environment.
- Vocational culinary qualification (e.g., CAP/BEP or equivalent) or demonstrable professional training in culinary arts.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent presentation and a high sense of service.
- Creative, organized, proactive and able to work collaboratively within a brigade.
- Punctual, well-presented and committed to maintaining hospitality industry standards.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years working in professional kitchens, with prior experience as a Commis de Cuisine or Cook; experience within luxury hospitality or high-end restaurants preferred.
Education
Professional culinary diploma (e.g., CAP/BEP) or equivalent vocational training in culinary arts preferred.
