Parfums Christian Dior seeks Commercial Analyst in London to drive UK and Ireland retail growth through data analytics and Power BI implementation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly retail sales reports for management with accuracy and timeliness
- Lead Power BI implementation as commercial champion, partnering with the Business Application Manager and Commercial Managers to drive successful rollout across the UK sales team
- Create and train Power BI super users, managing company-wide implementation and adoption
- Deliver weekly data and insights using Power BI, identifying new opportunities to consolidate retail and commercial reports
- Generate commercial insights on weekly, monthly, and quarterly cycles, analyzing sales performance, company impact, and stock implications using Circana data
- Identify ongoing opportunities to enhance retail sales and resolve performance-inhibiting issues
- Collaborate with management to define KPIs and prepare monthly KPI reporting
- Create and analyze sales trackers for newness, seasonal lines, and key product lines, providing accurate data and analysis
- Prepare weekly inventory reports with recommended action plans for Sales Managers
- Work daily with the Finance Brand Analyst/Controller to ensure sales and financial data consistency and accuracy
- Manage the retail sales target-setting and review process in partnership with Commercial Managers and store leadership
- Provide monthly retailer sales data to Commercial Managers, including sales and intake performance metrics
- Support the Commercial team with ad-hoc reporting as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant commercial, financial analysis, or retail analytics experience
- Degree-qualified with advanced mathematical ability
- Proficiency with Power BI
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Competency with MS Office suite, including MS MapPoint and Access databases
- Strong analytical mindset with desire to understand root causes
- Demonstrated project management capability for complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Commercial awareness with sensitivity to P&L impact and retailer/internal team objectives
- Strong problem-solving orientation and continuous improvement mindset
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of commercial analysis, financial analysis, or retail-focused business analytics experience. Candidates with finance backgrounds seeking to develop their career in a commercial direction are encouraged to apply.
