Christian Dior Couture seeks CNC Machine Operator in Pforzheim, Germany. Multi-axis Bumotec expertise, Hypermill programming, 3+ years required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare 3D models from Rhino CAD for manufacturing execution
- Programme, define, and simulate complex combined turning-milling processes using Hypermill, conducting full process simulations before machine setup
- Independently set up and configure the Bumotec S181, including rod loading magazine, clamping systems, and automatic component ejection
- Measure and calibrate tooling independently and configure measuring systems directly on the machine
- Execute sophisticated combined operations in single fixtures, including external contour turning, engraving work, parting operations, and precise workpiece transfer to the secondary spindle for reverse-side machining
- Load programmes to the Fanuc control and safely run-in components; optimize cutting parameters and make targeted programme adjustments as required
- Monitor automated small-series production runs on the Bumotec during operation
Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship as a precision machinist (Zerspanungsmechaniker/Feinwerkmechaniker) or equivalent CNC-focused qualification
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with complex CNC turning-milling centres, including setup, operation, and process supervision
- Advanced practical proficiency in Hypermill and secure competency with Fanuc controls, ideally on multi-axis or turning-milling machines
- Comprehensive knowledge of manual G-code programming to DIN 66025 / ISO 6983 standards; ability to read, modify, and optimize programmes directly at the machine
- Solid working knowledge of 3D models and familiarity with CAD systems such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Fusion 360 (Rhino CAD experience preferred but training provided for motivated candidates)
