Christian Dior Couture seeks a Client Engagement and Development Director in Mexico City to lead LATAM clienteling and grow top‑tier clientele.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement the LATAM clienteling and client engagement strategy across all client tiers in line with commercial objectives and budget.
- Recruit and cultivate new clients and nurture relationships within local communities and market ecosystems.
- Develop and elevate high‑potential mid‑tier clients by embedding a culture of strategic client engagement across boutique teams.
- Grow and retain existing top‑tier clients in close partnership with the Client Relations team and act as an ambassador for Dior’s top clients regionally and globally.
- Ensure Dior standards are reinforced in every client interaction, driving long‑term relationships and delivery against store sales targets and KPIs (planned business, mid‑tier growth, top client revenue).
- Lead, coach and develop boutique associates to optimise performance, provide feedback and standardise best practices.
- Partner with Client Engagement, Retail Operations & Excellence, Retail Special Projects, Retail Training and store teams to roll out initiatives and measure impact.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of relevant retail management experience, ideally within luxury fashion or luxury hospitality.
- Advanced command of English; Portuguese is a desirable additional language.
- Proven leadership and people‑development skills with a track record of coaching store teams to commercial results.
- Commercial creativity, initiative and strong understanding of clienteling methodologies and retail KPIs.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and follow‑through capabilities; ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment.
- Operational fluency with IT and POS systems.
Skills
Experience
At least 10 years of progressive retail management experience within luxury retail or hospitality, with demonstrable success growing mid‑tier and top‑tier client portfolios and meeting retail KPIs across a regional remit.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, luxury management or equivalent professional experience preferred.
