Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy France's financial strategy aligned with central direction and business priorities, piloting budget, forecast, quarterly closes, and medium-term planning processes
  • Guarantee reliability, relevance, and clarity of financial analyses and performance indicators; rigorously monitor P&L, cash, costs, margins, and key value drivers
  • Partner with the management committee to guide growth, profitability, investments, and strategic trade-offs
  • Position as a privileged partner to operational and functional leadership on all performance issues; challenge business assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and formulate actionable recommendations
  • Support structural decisions related to commercial development, investments, innovation, and operating model evolution across both Wholesale and Retail channels
  • Drive transformation roadmap for the finance function at France level; accelerate digitalization of financial activities and evolution of reporting, planning, and control tools
  • Identify and implement process optimization, automation, and simplification initiatives; build team capability in evolving professional practices
  • Oversee accounting, internal control, cash management, and management control functions; ensure quality of financial closes and data reliability
  • Serve as key liaison for internal and external stakeholders on France-market financial matters
  • Lead and challenge Sales Administration processes and KPIs including inventory tracking, placement, stock-outs, and shelf-presence rates
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a 20-person team distributed between multiple sites; provide clear direction and foster high engagement and cross-functional collaboration
  • Promote proximity-based, demanding yet supportive management that encourages teamwork and operational excellence

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years in senior-level finance roles, ideally in complex, demanding, multi-business environments
  • Proven experience managing significant teams and leading organizations across multiple sites
  • Solid track record in finance transformation, digitalization, continuous improvement, and process/tool optimization
  • Strong command of both strategic thinking and hands-on operational execution
  • Excellent understanding of business issues and strong results orientation
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-expectation environment with significant stakeholder interaction
  • Natural leadership, credibility, influence, and demonstrated ability to engage diverse stakeholders
