Christian Dior Couture seeks experienced Buyer & Collection Developer for Baby Dior in Redon, France—maternal leave cover, full-time contract.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop imagery, materials, and accessories for children's and baby collections
  • Manage purchasing for assigned collection categories: supplier referencing, fabric and trim sourcing, bill of materials creation
  • Issue purchase orders, monitor lead times, and verify compliance upon receipt
  • Coordinate collection launches and specifications with manufacturing partners
  • Oversee product development and launches with contracted manufacturers
  • Maintain regular communication with team members across Redon and Paris facilities
  • Travel to professional trade shows and Portuguese manufacturing facilities for oversight and collaboration

Qualifications

  • Strong product sensibility with demonstrated quality focus in luxury goods
  • Background in textile engineering or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in textiles and/or luxury sectors
  • Fluent professional English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, PLM, and M3 systems highly valued
  • Methodical and versatile approach to task execution
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
