Christian Dior Couture Boutique Manager position in Wuhan, China. Lead retail operations, drive sales, and manage luxury team in a prestigious fashion environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and control sales performance against KPIs through market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic action planning aligned with brand launches and animations
- Maintain and elevate luxury store ambience and presentation according to Dior standards, ensuring visual merchandising excellence and brand image consistency
- Cultivate and manage relationships with VIP clientele, proactively recruit new high-value customers, and orchestrate exclusive events such as trunk shows and private viewings
- Recruit, train, and develop boutique team members; establish organizational structure with designated team leaders and succession planning across departments
- Conduct performance evaluations, implement coaching programs, identify development needs, and prepare individual development plans for key contributors and direct reports
- Oversee daily operations including inventory management, cycle counts, cash desk procedures, security protocols, and compliance with fiscal and customs regulations
- Analyze boutique performance reports and POS data; communicate findings to direct reports and coordinate with headquarters functions for strategic alignment
- Schedule team activities, manage work distributions, and maintain staff relations while ensuring team presentation standards including uniform compliance, appearance guidelines, and professional behavior
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail management, preferably in fashion and leather goods sector
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and manage boutique P&L
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team recruitment, training, and performance management
- Expertise in VIP customer relationship management and high-touch clienteling
- Knowledge of visual merchandising and luxury brand standards
- Understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and financial controls
Skills
Experience
Experience in luxury retail management, ideally within fashion and leather goods. Demonstrated track record of driving sales performance, managing boutique operations, building and retaining high-performing teams, and cultivating VIP customer relationships within an upscale retail environment.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; additional qualifications in retail management, business administration, or luxury brand management are desirable.
