Christian Dior Couture seeks an experienced Boutique Manager in Washington D.C. to lead luxury fashion retail operations, team management, and sales growth.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual boutique sales goals across all product categories and drive revenue growth
  • Lead and develop a leadership team and Sales Associates to exceed client service standards and individual sales targets
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and payroll budgets in coordination with Human Resources
  • Conduct regular management meetings to review performance, operations, employee relations, and overall business strategy
  • Supervise all operational processes including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and after-sales service
  • Oversee visual merchandising alignment with brand direction and advertising campaigns
  • Coordinate in-store events, seasonal sales, trunk shows, and promotional activities in partnership with the Corporate Office
  • Review operational reports, records, and inventory documentation to ensure accuracy and policy compliance
  • Develop and communicate product knowledge in coordination with the Merchants and Training Team
  • Report on product sales trends and client feedback to make recommendations to the Merchandising Team
  • Ensure security, safety compliance, and proper maintenance of the physical facility
  • Conduct quarterly emergency procedures meetings and maintain updated emergency contact information
  • Manage store profitability and maintain adherence to company policies regarding funds, property, and record-keeping

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of boutique management experience in luxury fashion
  • Deep understanding of the luxury fashion industry and luxury clientele expectations
  • Proven ability to develop, motivate, and train leadership teams and frontline staff
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills
  • Capability to effectively delegate tasks and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and operational equipment
  • Demonstrated compliance knowledge of company policies and retail procedures
