Christian Dior seeks a Boutique Manager in Los Cabos to lead boutique sales, operations, client service, and team development, with responsibility for sales targets, staffing, merchandising, events, inventory, and compliance. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of boutique business, including sales generation, store operations, and team and client development.
- Achieve annual boutique sales goals across all product categories.
- Lead the management team in developing Sales Associates to meet and exceed client development expectations and individual sales goals.
- Ensure every client receives outstanding service.
- Hold regular management touchbases to review performance, operations, and employee relations, and to develop overall business strategy.
- Oversee associate staffing and scheduling, ensuring compliance with payroll budgets.
- Partner with Human Resources on recruitment and hiring for the Boutique Sales and Leadership Teams.
- Organize and coordinate events with the Corporate Office to increase boutique traffic and maximize sales.
- Develop product knowledge in coordination with Merchants and the Training Team.
- Ensure and develop the boutique’s visual merchandising in line with brand direction and advertising campaigns.
- Coordinate and actively participate in in-store promotions, including seasonal sales, trunk shows, and contests.
- Report on product sell-through and client feedback, making recommendations to the Merchandising Team.
- Manage operational processes in partnership with the Operations Manager, including shipping and receiving, inventory, and aftersales, to minimize stock loss and maximize customer service.
- Follow and oversee compliance with company policies and standards, including the safekeeping of company funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales and record-keeping procedures, and store maintenance.
- Review operational reports and records to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, monitor store profitability, and manage payroll budgets.
- Review paperwork for receiving, transfers, MOS/damages, returns to vendor (RTVs), and charge-backs to the Corporate Office to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ensure adequate security and compliance of physical facilities with safety codes and ordinances.
- Solve problems and develop strategies that support boutique service, efficiency, and productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of luxury boutique management experience.
- Advanced English.
- Strong understanding of the luxury fashion industry and luxury clientele.
- Ability to develop, motivate, and train the leadership team and staff; build strong internal and external relationships; and use workforce skills appropriately to maximize business results.
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, listen attentively, understand material, and provide instructions to all employees.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to travel as needed.
