Parfums Christian Dior is hiring a Boutique Manager in Chicago to lead retail operations, team management, and luxury client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve retail sales targets and contribute to store and services KPIs on a monthly basis
  • Display an exceptional example of the Dior client experience and deliver memorable interactions through the highest standard of service
  • Educate customers on the Dior brand and products, sharing Dior storytelling within every client interaction
  • Lead the sales floor by example, ensuring a welcoming and professional boutique environment
  • Report on a weekly basis store performance to leadership as required
  • Build and execute monthly and quarterly strategies to support business and client development objectives
  • Gather and report market and competition trends, identifying opportunities for commercial development
  • Host leadership in-store visits, discussing business KPIs, team performance, competition, and strategic opportunities
  • Set and track realistic individual KPIs for employees, motivating staff through clear communication and consistent coaching
  • Coach and develop the skills and knowledge of all team members using Dior tools and training materials
  • Foster a positive working environment that promotes psychological safety, feedback, diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork
  • Oversee the annual review process for all store employees
  • Assist in recruiting top talent who embody the Parfums Christian Dior mission, vision, and values
  • Manage scheduling, time off requests, payroll, commission, overtime, and employee relations in partnership with Retail Operations and HR
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory training programs and company policies, including state and federal labor laws
  • Ensure team awareness and support of all client development and client experience strategies
  • Animate the implementation and success of Dior launch plans and in-store animations
  • Manage internal and external communication to ensure successful events and activations
  • Proactively propose and execute in-store and remote actions to drive traffic, recruit new customers, and develop loyalty
  • Master and leverage client data to retain, recruit, and grow customer loyalty through CRM systems
  • Meet annual voice of client standards including NPS, Client Experience Assessment, and Dior service signature metrics
  • Organize, set up, and host events such as beauty classes, partnering with corporate teams while maintaining service standards

Qualifications

  • 3+ years as a Business or Boutique Manager directly managing a team of 5–10 people minimum
  • Proven track record in achieving retail sales results and profitability targets
  • Demonstrated experience working within a luxury retail environment
  • Excellent selling and customer service skills
  • Strong beauty knowledge and rich vocabulary regarding the beauty universe, trends, and competitive landscape
  • Exceptional ability to connect with clients and nurture long-term client relationships
  • Proven people management experience with the ability to lead, manage, motivate, coach, and develop teams
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Digital proficiency and comfort with operational POS systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with HRIS systems, client tracking systems, and Point of Sales (POS)
