Christian Dior Couture seeks a Boutique Manager in Chicago (Neiman Marcus) to lead sales, operations and team development for its luxury boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own achievement of annual boutique sales targets across all product categories through strategic planning and active leadership.
- Lead, coach and develop the leadership team and Sales Associates to maximize client development, conversion and individual sales performance.
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional client service at every touchpoint and cultivate long-term relationships with high-net-worth clientele.
- Manage all store operations including staffing and scheduling, payroll control, inventory, shipping & receiving, and aftersales to minimize losses and optimize service.
- Partner with HR on recruitment, onboarding and performance management of boutique staff.
- Control commercial expenses and headcount to maintain adherence to the boutique operating budget and profitability goals.
- Coordinate with Merchants and Training on product knowledge and report sell-through and client feedback to inform merchandising decisions.
- Develop and execute visual merchandising and in-store events (seasonal promotions, trunk shows) in line with brand direction and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct regular management meetings to review performance, operations, employee relations and to refine business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security procedures, and supervise operational paperwork (receiving, transfers, damages, RTVs).
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of boutique management experience, ideally within luxury fashion or premium leather goods.
- Deep understanding of the luxury fashion industry and expectations of high-net-worth clientele.
- Proven ability to develop, motivate and train leadership teams and retail staff to exceed sales and service goals.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing payroll, budgets and expense control.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and follow-through skills.
- Availability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and to travel as required.
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary for store operations and to implement company policies and procedures consistently.

Minimum 10 years of boutique management experience in luxury fashion retail, preferably with exposure to flagship boutiques or high-end department store partnerships.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, fashion merchandising or equivalent professional experience preferred.
