Parfums Christian Dior seeks an experienced Boutique Manager in Beijing to lead a luxury perfumes and cosmetics boutique with full P&L accountability.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and profitability targets while maintaining operational excellence and optimal service standards
- Monitor and drive store performance against key performance indicators, managing all commercial activities
- Provide strong support to headquarters through data analysis, comprehensive reporting, and development of corrective action plans
- Analyze competitive landscape and identify new business development opportunities
- Lead successful execution and promotion of Dior initiatives, effectively managing internal and external communications
- Optimize inventory levels and sales through data analysis and collaboration with back-office departments
- Embody and communicate the Dior brand image to customers, external stakeholders, and sales team members
- Cultivate a customer- and service-centric culture, delivering world-class client experiences
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive store traffic, build customer loyalty, and acquire new clients
- Manage and lead the team to achieve customer relationship management (CRM) objectives using available tools effectively
- Maintain visual merchandising standards as established by the visual display department
- Communicate brand strategy, company objectives, and performance targets to the team
- Manage daily team workload and long-term professional development in a supportive environment
- Use company training and performance management tools to enhance team capabilities and knowledge
- Establish individual performance goals for team members
- Model exemplary conduct and adherence to boutique policies and standards
- Create team schedules based on business and staffing needs
- Ensure team knowledge of brand heritage and product information across all categories
- Recruit high-quality team members and ensure retention through effective onboarding and performance management
- Maintain team alignment with Dior standards in brand knowledge, conduct, and performance
- Execute daily retail administration and ensure compliance with all retail performance tools (ATR, IT systems)
- Manage inventory accurately according to quantity and sales guidelines
- Ensure complete business compliance across the boutique and team, maintaining standards in cash handling, inventory, IT, and security
- Maintain health and safety standards for the boutique and team in accordance with brand and legal requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial or boutique manager
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of 5–10 people
- Proven track record in luxury retail performance (sales and profitability)
- Strong sales and communication capabilities
- Proficiency with computer systems and analytical tools
- Customer service and management expertise
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, guide, and develop employees
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a commercial or boutique manager, with a demonstrated track record of leading teams of 5–10 people. Experience in the luxury retail sector is strongly preferred. The candidate should have proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets within a high-end retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
