Parfums Christian Dior in Beijing seeks a Boutique Manager to lead the APM boutique, driving sales, team development and exceptional client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive boutique sales and profitability, meeting or exceeding established commercial targets and KPIs.
- Plan, implement and monitor in-store commercial initiatives and events to increase traffic, conversion and client acquisition.
- Analyse sales metrics and inventory data to optimise stock levels in collaboration with central departments.
- Deliver world-class customer experience and consistently embody the Dior brand image in interactions with clients and external stakeholders.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management and career development for a team of sales consultants (typical team size: 5–10).
- Ensure compliance with company procedures across cash handling, inventory control, IT, health & safety and loss prevention.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards as defined by the visual team and ensure correct execution in-store.
- Provide timely reporting and actionable recommendations to head office, and implement corrective or growth action plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' experience as a retail or boutique manager, preferably within the luxury sector.
- Demonstrable experience managing and developing a team of approximately 5–10 direct reports.
- Proven track record of delivering strong retail sales and profitability.
- Proficient analytical skills with experience using sales data to inform commercial decisions.
- Strong leadership, coaching and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years' experience in a commercial or boutique manager role, with proven responsibility for both sales performance and people management (typically 5–10 team members). Prior experience in luxury retail is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, hospitality, fashion or a related discipline preferred; relevant professional retail training is acceptable.
