Christian Dior Couture seeks an experienced Boutique Director in Toronto to lead luxury boutique operations, manage sales teams, and ensure exceptional client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive achievement of annual boutique sales goals across all product categories
- Develop and motivate the leadership team and Sales Associates to exceed individual and collective sales targets through client relationship building
- Ensure exceptional client experience and luxury service standards at all times
- Conduct regular management meetings to review performance, operations, and employee relations while developing overall business strategy
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and payroll budget compliance for the boutique
- Partner with Human Resources on recruitment and hiring of sales and leadership personnel
- Manage payroll, commercial expenses, and headcount to maintain the boutique operating budget
- Organize and coordinate corporate events and in-store promotions to drive traffic and sales, including seasonal sales, trunk shows, and contests
- Develop product knowledge in coordination with the Merchandising and Training Teams
- Ensure and evolve Visual Merchandising standards aligned with brand direction and advertising campaigns
- Report on product sell-through and client feedback to the Merchandising Team for strategic recommendations
- Manage operational processes including Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Management, and After-Sales Service to minimize stock loss and maximize customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with Company policies regarding safekeeping of funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales procedures, and record-keeping
- Review operational reports and records to monitor store profitability and adherence to company procedures
- Verify accuracy of inventory through review of receiving documentation, transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor
- Ensure adequate security and physical facility compliance with safety codes and ordinances
- Conduct quarterly emergency procedure briefings with staff and maintain updated emergency contact information
- Develop strategies that enhance boutique service, efficiency, and productivity
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of boutique management experience in luxury fashion retail
- Deep understanding of the luxury fashion industry and luxury clientele expectations
- Proven ability to develop, motivate, and mentor leadership and sales teams
- Strong delegation and follow-up capabilities
- Ability to manage priorities and time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with all point-of-sale and boutique operational equipment
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of boutique management experience in a luxury fashion retail setting, with demonstrated success in leading sales teams, achieving revenue targets, and managing store operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or related field preferred.
