Christian Dior Couture seeks a Boutique Director to lead sales generation, boutique operations, and team and client development at its Bellagio location in Las Vegas. The role is permanent and full-time, with a salary of $150,000–$160,000 annually plus bonus eligibility; the schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays, with travel as needed.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual boutique sales goals across all product categories.
  • Lead the management team in developing Sales Associates to meet and exceed client-development expectations and individual sales goals.
  • Ensure clients receive outstanding service at all times.
  • Hold regular management touchpoints to review performance, operations, employee relations issues, and overall business strategy.
  • Oversee associate staffing and scheduling, ensuring compliance with payroll budgets.
  • Partner with Human Resources on recruitment and hiring for the boutique sales and leadership teams.
  • Manage payroll, commercial expenses, and headcount to maintain the boutique operating budget.
  • Organize and coordinate events with the Corporate Office to increase boutique traffic and maximize sales.
  • Develop product knowledge in coordination with Merchants and the Training Team.
  • Ensure and develop boutique visual merchandising in line with brand direction and advertising campaigns.
  • Coordinate and actively participate in in-store promotions, including seasonal sales, trunk shows, and contests.
  • Report on product sell-through and client feedback, making recommendations to the Merchandising Team.
  • Partner with the Operations Manager to manage shipping and receiving, inventory, and aftersales processes, minimizing stock loss and maximizing customer service.
  • Adhere to and oversee compliance with company policies and standards covering company funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales and record-keeping procedures, and store maintenance.
  • Review operational reports and records to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, monitor store profitability, and manage payroll budgets.
  • Review paperwork for receiving, transfers, MOS/damages, returns to vendor (RTVs), and chargebacks to the Corporate Office to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure adequate security and that physical facilities comply with safety codes and ordinances.
  • Conduct quarterly emergency-procedures meetings with all staff and provide the management team and Human Resources with an updated emergency contact list as needed.
  • Resolve problems and develop strategies that support boutique service, efficiency, and productivity.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of boutique management experience.
  • Strong understanding of the luxury fashion industry and luxury clientele.
  • Ability to develop, motivate, and train leadership teams and staff; build strong internal and external relationships; and use workforce capabilities effectively to maximize business results.
  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and follow up with Department Managers.
  • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and understandably; listen attentively; understand material; and provide instructions to all employees.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
  • Availability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
