Parfums Christian Dior seeks a Beauty Counter Manager in The Hague to lead the boutique team, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the counter team to deliver sales, service and clienteling KPIs; set individual objectives and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Drive a best‑in‑class client experience on the sales floor using the D.I.O.R. method; act as an active selling presence to model behaviours and convert high-value interactions.
  • Own local business performance: deliver consistent sales and profitability targets through assortment, services, events and sell‑through optimisation.
  • Design and execute in‑store and remote initiatives to acquire and grow client loyalty; manage CRM and clienteling activities to maximise lifetime value.
  • Manage daily operations and administrative responsibilities including shift planning, stock management, order placement, sales analysis and weekly reporting.
  • Ensure operational and compliance standards are met (iPos procedures, redemption processes) and that visual merchandising guidelines are implemented to maison standards.
  • Coordinate with retail partners and head office to animate Dior launch plans, local activations and events to increase footfall and brand presence.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail management experience in luxury and/or cosmetics with demonstrated leadership (typically 3–5+ years in supervisory/managerial roles).
  • Track record of delivering consistent retail results (sales, profitability and sell‑through).
  • Strong people management capability: recruitment, coaching, development and performance management.
  • Commercially astute with ability to analyse sales data and translate insight into action.
  • Excellent client management and clienteling skills; demonstrable experience using CRM to grow loyalty.
  • Fluency in Dutch (Vlaams) required; strong spoken French and English preferred.
  • High level of digital literacy and comfort with boutique sales tools and reporting.

Experience

Demonstrable luxury retail experience with successful management of a boutique or counter team. Ideally 3–5+ years in retail with evidence of leadership impact.

Education

Secondary education required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, marketing or a related field preferred or equivalent professional experience.
