Bartender position at Christian Dior Couture, Paris—join the team at the iconic 30 Avenue Montaigne flagship serving luxury clients in Restaurant Monsieur Dior and affiliated venues.
Role & Responsibilities
- Share passion for mixology and gastronomy with clientele and execute exceptional service standards
- Welcome clients at the point of sale and provide consultative beverage service
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of equipment, beverages, cocktails, and culinary preparations featured on venue menus
- Promote and recommend cocktails and beverages across all restaurant and 30 Montaigne venues
- Execute precise beverage orders, prepare cocktails to exacting standards, and ensure flawless service delivery
- Dispatch all beverage types during service hours with accuracy and timing
- Collaborate on cocktail menu creation and seasonal beverage card updates
- Process payments and reconcile charges according to restaurant procedures
- Assist with food service delivery
- Maintain optimal stock management and oversee cellar organization for efficient mise en place
- Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation according to rigorous standard procedures
- Facilitate internal communication and information flow within the service team
- Implement and ensure strict adherence to HACCP hygiene and food safety standards
- Alert management immediately to any abnormal situations concerning safety or risk of accidents involving guests or colleagues
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional bartending experience in a luxury hospitality establishment
- Demonstrated expertise and genuine passion for mixology and cocktail culture
- Fluent English; multilingual capabilities a strong asset
- Advanced knowledge of spirits, wines, and premium beverages
- Strong client service orientation and proven ability to engage high-net-worth international clientele
- Meticulous attention to detail and flawless presentation
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work effectively within team structures
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Bartender or Head Bartender in a luxury hospitality setting, with demonstrated expertise in mixology, inventory management, and elevated client service. Previous experience in Michelin-starred or luxury hospitality venues is highly valued.
Education
