Christian Dior Couture seeks a Design Intern to assist studio team in womenswear denim development in Paris, January 2027 for six months.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of womenswear and denim collections from initial concept through production
- Support coordination between design, product development, merchandising, and production teams
- Conduct research, create sketches, renderings, and mock-ups for new designs
- Monitor prototypes, samples, and production timelines to ensure adherence to schedules
- Ensure quality standards and brand guidelines are maintained throughout the development process
- Prepare and update product sheets, technical documentation, artwork, and collection tracking reports
- Support inventory tracking and material management systems
- Assist in organizing team meetings and preparing presentations
- Execute day-to-day studio tasks to support operational continuity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design with valid internship agreement from accredited institution
- Portfolio demonstrating design capability and understanding of womenswear and denim aesthetics
- Genuine passion for luxury fashion and contemporary design
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator
- Fluent English communication skills
- Knowledge of leather materials and production processes is advantageous
- Previous internship or professional experience in ready-to-wear, denim, or luxury fashion industry is advantageous
