Christian Dior Couture seeks an Assistant Store Manager at 30 Avenue Montaigne, Paris — full-time role overseeing sales, operations and team leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive commercial performance for the 30 Avenue Montaigne boutique by defining and executing sales strategies and action plans to meet and exceed targets.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimise sales, conversion and average transaction value; implement corrective actions where required.
- Develop and sustain high-value client relationships, including VIP and private clients, to grow lifetime value and loyalty.
- Ensure flawless day-to-day boutique operations: enforce company procedures, oversee stock levels and replenishment, and guarantee immaculate product presentation in line with Maison codes.
- Coordinate merchandising and promotional activity with internal teams (merchandising, marketing) and manage boutique involvement in product launches and special events.
- Lead, coach and develop the boutique team: set individual and collective objectives, conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback and foster a high-performance service culture.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive workplace, resolve interpersonal conflicts and uphold exemplary customer service standards at every touchpoint.
- Support the Store Director in budgeting, financial oversight and operational decision-making for the site.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' professional experience in luxury retail with progressive responsibility in boutique management.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with experience setting objectives, coaching teams and managing performance.
- Proven commercial acumen and track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a high-end retail environment.
- Strong operational knowledge of boutique processes including inventory control, merchandising and event coordination.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in an additional language is an advantage.
- Capacity to work autonomously, make strategic decisions and manage complex day-to-day issues in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in luxury retail store management, including team leadership, P&L or budgetary exposure, and proven success in delivering sales growth and exceptional client service.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, retail management, hospitality or luxury brand management preferred.
