Christian Dior Couture, Paris: 6-month internship assisting footwear sourcing and product development (March 2027 start, hybrid).
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with the launch of technical collection materials and coordinate with internal teams on product specifications
- Source and order materials including leathers, textiles, and accessories; maintain updated collection tracking tools (dispatch files, master documents, books)
- Participate in research and development of footwear technical specifications and materials in collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing partners across France and internationally
- Support product refinement and material testing processes, including production follow-up and quality control
- Generate and maintain purchase orders for materials and technical specifications; track invoices and receipt of delivered materials
- Manage administrative coordination and communication with external manufacturers and suppliers throughout the development cycle
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a higher education programme with prior hands-on experience in product development, materials, or textile studies (business school, engineering, or materials/textile design programme)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and digital workplace tools
- Fluent English; Italian language skills are advantageous
- Demonstrated attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Valid internship convention (stage convention) required

Entry-level; candidates should have completed at least one prior internship or hands-on educational project involving product, materials, or textile work.
Education
Currently pursuing a degree in commerce, engineering, design, materials science, or textile studies; candidates from specialized fashion design or business schools are preferred.
