Christian Dior Couture — Paris: Assistant Showroom Manager to coordinate showrooms, fittings and shoots. Permanent full-time role in Ile-de-France.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan and supervise all organisational aspects of showrooms, fittings, photoshoots and prototype sales for both Womenswear and Menswear collections.
- Manage logistics, technical set-up and aesthetic presentation of each event, ensuring adherence to timelines, brand standards and allocated budgets.
- Prepare and maintain schedules for external providers (security, cleaning, catering, hosts, florists, hair & make-up, portage and movers) and supervise their on-site execution.
- Oversee showroom set-up and reset before and after events; manage equipment, supplies and stock required for showroom operations.
- Organise and supervise staffing for events including temporary workers, interns and showroom assistants; ensure training and on-boarding for temporary teams.
- Act as primary liaison with internal stakeholders (Creative Studio, Business Units, Buyers across EMEA/APAC/China/US, HR, VM, CRM, Photo Studio, Maintenance) and external suppliers/agencies.
- Ensure high standards of service, diplomacy and client care during fittings, showings and buyer appointments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' professional experience managing showrooms, fittings or luxury events—preferably within fashion or luxury goods.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder projects under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional organisational skills, rigor and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal ease, diplomacy and service orientation when dealing with internal teams, buyers and external partners.
- Fluent English (professional working proficiency) is indispensable; French language skills are advantageous.
- Proficiency with scheduling/planning software and Microsoft Office; experience supervising temporary staff and freelancers.

Minimum 5 years' experience in showroom or luxury event management, preferably within fashion or haute couture environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in fashion, events management, hospitality or a related discipline preferred — or equivalent professional experience in luxury showroom/event operations.
