Christian Dior Couture seeks Assistant Sales Planning intern in Paris. Six-month hybrid role analyzing women's RTW sales and forecasts using PowerBI and Excel.
Role & Responsibilities
- Construct and update weekly sales reports in PowerBI tracking sales performance versus prior week, prior year, week-to-date, month-to-date, season-to-date, year-to-date, and forecast metrics
- Monitor sales performance and sell-through rates (current and projected) by collection, category, zone, and product
- Support key stakeholders across merchandising, supply/demand planning, and business planning functions with ad-hoc analyses and requests
- Update PowerPoint presentations and slides for Forecast Committee meetings and Product Innovation Council (PIC) sessions
- Participate in showroom events to understand purchasing strategy, business objectives, and monitor collection forecasts from launch
- Conduct cross-category analytical tracking including purchase monitoring and sell-through performance versus showroom targets
- Analyze sales performance against purchases and assess inventory impact
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses as required by senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- Engineering school (École d'Ingénieur) or business school (École de Commerce) graduate
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
- Demonstrated interest in supply chain, purchasing, retail merchandising, or luxury sector
- Proficiency with PowerBI and/or Anaplan
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn new tools quickly
- Fluent English language skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Skills
Experience
Beginner level. Entry-level candidates from target educational backgrounds with demonstrated interest in supply chain, purchasing, retail merchandising, or luxury are welcome to apply. Prior internship experience in related functions is advantageous but not required.
Education
Graduate of an engineering school (École d'Ingénieur) or business school (École de Commerce).
