Christian Dior Couture, Paris: Assistant Retail Merchandiser internship (6 months) supporting European merchandising operations and regional coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver weekly performance reporting, including zone and product analysis with key performance indicators
- Maintain and update reporting tools such as sell-through reports and purchase recaps
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Prepare for and participate in buying sessions at showrooms alongside merchandisers
- Develop collection launch presentations in coordination with the training department
- Monitor competitive landscape for market trends, product innovations, and development opportunities
- Liaise regularly with local merchandisers, consolidate market feedback, and distribute communications
- Coordinate cross-functional events involving supply chain, visual merchandising, training, and business units
Qualifications
- Enrolled in final years of business school or equivalent university programme (Bac+4/5 level)
- Prior internship experience in Retail Merchandising, Business Planning, or Retail operations preferred
- Fluent English proficiency
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated interest in the luxury fashion industry
- Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail
