Christian Dior Couture seeks an Assistant Retail Merchandiser internship in Paris for six months. Support European merchandising operations with reporting, analysis, and coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Produce weekly performance reports analysing sales trends across zones and product categories, maintaining accuracy of sell-through and purchase recap reporting tools
- Prepare and participate in merchandise planning sessions during showroom visits, collaborating with merchandising teams
- Develop and coordinate collection launch presentations in conjunction with the training department
- Conduct competitive analysis and trend monitoring to identify market development opportunities
- Maintain regular contact with regional merchandisers, consolidate market feedback, and disseminate communications to support product and ordering needs
- Coordinate events and initiatives with internal partners including Supply Chain, Visual Merchandising, Training, and Business Units
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bac+4/5 (Master's level) programme in business school or equivalent university degree
- Fluent English (French desirable)
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated interest in and sensitivity to the luxury goods industry
- Ability to thrive in an international, collaborative environment with strong attention to detail

Experience
Prior internship experience in Retail Merchandising, Business Planning, or Retail operations is desirable but not essential for early-career candidates.
Education
Master's level degree (Bac+4/5) in Business Administration, Commerce, Retail Management, or equivalent university programme.
