Christian Dior Couture seeks Assistant Retail Merchandiser for Accessories in Paris; 6-month internship beginning July 2026 supporting luxury merchandising operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor product category performance through weekly sales reporting by product line, region, and collection, identifying optimization opportunities for reporting systems
- Produce ad hoc performance analyses and participate in developing action plans to support sales objectives
- Maintain daily communication with buyers regarding category performance tracking and market intelligence
- Support buying sessions by assisting in forecast development and buy strategy preparation presented to wholesale zones
- Participate actively in showroom sessions, including Core Offer definition, operational support for meetings, collection presentation to wholesale teams, and document production
- Track trunk show orders and post-session administrative requirements
- Support category animation initiatives including clearance sessions, repricing exercises, and competitive monitoring
- Develop and prepare collection launch documentation for distribution to boutique teams
- Contribute to category strategy development and retail network engagement
Qualifications
- Master's degree student or equivalent from business school or fashion school
- Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Knowledge of luxury goods and fashion market dynamics; familiarity with accessories category is advantageous
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent English language skills required
- Demonstrated ability to work methodically under tight time constraints and shifting priorities
