Christian Dior Couture, Paris: Assistant Product Manager Development internship, menswear ready-to-wear, 6-month contract from March 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update collection tracking documentation including panoramas, collection plans, component tables, and material specifications
  • Create and update models within the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system
  • Generate model and material attribution sheets for collection launches
  • Participate in material sourcing activities
  • Manage and dispatch sample materials for sales presentations
  • Print product labels and scan collection looks for looklists
  • Coordinate daily communication with manufacturers, studio teams, and internal departments
  • Track shipments of materials, components, fabrics, and prototypes to manufacturing partners
  • Arrange courier services and DHL shipments for sample distribution
  • Participate in collection fittings and tryons with studio, designers, technical bureau, and workshop teams
  • Receive and process prototypes including unpacking, verification, hanger adjustment, and model checking

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in business school, fashion school, textile engineering program, or equivalent discipline
  • First experience in product development, production, or fashion industry preferred
  • Strong interest in menswear ready-to-wear, product development processes, and collection lifecycle
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Autonomous, responsive, and collaborative work style
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Written and spoken English fluency; Italian is an asset
  • PLM system experience is an advantage
