Christian Dior Couture, Paris: Assistant Product Manager internship for men's leather goods and footwear; 6-month contract beginning March 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee collection development and prototype coordination between Paris headquarters and Italian manufacturing facilities, including receipt, dispatch, and daily exchanges
  • Track product refinement, conduct compliance inspections upon receipt, and maintain comprehensive prototype databases
  • Author and maintain collection planning documents with technical specifications; create tracking tools to optimize departmental workflows
  • Prepare summary documentation for management outlining product specifications, material characteristics, and design variants
  • Execute competitive analysis studies examining forms, materials, trends, and production techniques; conduct legal research to validate design originality and protection
  • Collaborate daily with creative studios, merchandising teams, press departments, and Italy-based personnel; support internal meeting preparation including product selection and merchandising research
  • Organize and oversee model reception for runway shows, showrooms, and events; ensure conformity and provide logistics assistance including packing and transport
  • Update look lists for presentations and fashion shows
  • Monitor invoicing and maintain budget tracking spreadsheets; analyze production references by collection

Qualifications

  • First professional experience in a similar product management or product development environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of footwear and/or leather goods construction and design
  • Sensitivity to luxury and fashion aesthetics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Foundational skills in InDesign and/or Adobe Illustrator
  • Fluent English; Italian language is advantageous
  • Strong organizational discipline, attention to detail, and dynamic work approach
