Christian Dior Couture seeks an Assistant Merchandiser, South Asia in Singapore — 1‑year fixed-term role for Men's Shoes & Leather Goods.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Merchandising Manager in driving sales and sell-through for Men's Shoes and Leather Goods across the South Asia region, ensuring alignment with regional and global brand strategy.
- Prepare seasonal buys through sales analysis, product opportunity identification and contribution to product strategy.
- Contribute to Open-to-Buy (OTB) budget decisions by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and delivering strategic recommendations.
- Develop balanced product assortments and initial allocation strategies for seasonal and permanent items to optimise sell-through and margin.
- Manage in-season inventory flow in partnership with Supply Chain to ensure availability and stock health across retail and e‑commerce channels.
- Work closely with Retail, E‑commerce, Visual Merchandising and Training teams to support product launches, new store openings, events and product training materials.
- Produce and analyse weekly and monthly sales reports, delivering actionable insights and constructive feedback on product and collections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in merchandising or buying; luxury retail or fashion house experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of South Asia fashion markets and trends.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional decision‑making.
- Highly organised, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant merchandising or buying experience, ideally within luxury fashion or footwear/leather goods. Demonstrated experience with assortment planning, OTB and in-season inventory management; regional exposure to South Asia markets is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
