Christian Dior Couture, Paris: 6-month internship as Assistant Merchandiser for Fine Jewellery & Timepieces, supporting luxury retail analysis and inventory optimisation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly performance analyses by product type, collection, and store location, with focus on new launches and identifying growth levers
- Track network results against objectives, analyse performance variances, and prepare quantitative and qualitative analyses for monthly boutique reviews
- Participate in buying decisions for the France & Monaco region
- Support cluster reviews and implement assortment recommendations
- Assist with quarterly sales forecast reviews across the full product range
- Liaise daily with retail teams on inventory transfers and new product launches, ensuring stock verification and 360° action plan coordination
- Create product assortments for in-boutique jewellery events and manage inventory transfers
- Develop sales support tools for events including product books and product listings
- Order sales support materials for boutiques such as display trays and presentation platforms
- Conduct competitive analysis on new launches, trends, and fine jewellery events to identify development opportunities
- Support local jewellery events and participate in team coordination activities
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed degree from a school of commerce (Bac+5) or IEP
- First internship in merchandising or jewellery is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluent English
- Strong analytical, methodical, and organisational mindset
- Comfort with numerical data and analysis
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of the luxury sector with demonstrated sensitivity to product quality and aesthetics
- Keen interest in fine jewellery and/or horology

Experience
Entry-level experience in merchandising or jewellery is preferred; beginner-level candidates with strong commercial awareness are encouraged to apply.
Education
School of Commerce (Bac+5) or Institute of Political Studies (IEP) preferred; final-year internship or gap-year internship ideal.
