LVMH Parfums Christian Dior seeks Assistant Manager, Retail & Operations in New York to support innovative retail concepts and drive operational excellence through technology expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain store opening operations tracker with key dates and deliverables, providing regular updates to the Retail & Operations team
- Deliver post-opening support to boutiques by strengthening team expertise in retail systems, technologies, and boutique policies and procedures
- Support field team in coordinating repairs, maintenance, visual merchandising updates, and security coverage
- Provide ground support by working in-boutique one week per month
- Serve as primary point of contact for store staff; gather and escalate retail feedback to cross-functional teams
- Manage supply, hospitality, packaging, and tools ordering to ensure consistent brand image standards across all locations
- Manage opening inventory of sellable and non-sellable product for stores and gratis items for the Retail Innovation team
- Support retail inventory needs and troubleshoot technology and data issues across all systems
- Serve as expert on retail IoT systems including POS platforms (Infoware), advanced analytics (PowerBI), clienteling platforms (DiorConnect), mobile omnichannel sales, and digitalized systems (engraving machines, SmartSafe, music systems, lighting applications, alarms)
- Lead mobile point-of-sale operations for out-of-boutique activations including events, pop-ups, and masterclasses, ensuring sync across ERPs, PowerBI, and CRM data lakes
- Ensure retail data flows seamlessly upstream and downstream; troubleshoot data, platform, and system gaps with IT and field teams
- Coordinate and optimize D2C door-to-door sales processes by leveraging existing technology, supply chain partnerships, and logistics vendors; ensure digital and physical trails align
- Own and manage digital retail resource sites in English and French; improve UX/UI for web and mobile platforms, linking resources with support systems
- Digitalize operational content and create end-to-end digital solutions to operational processes
- Foster a positive, united work environment within the team and across departments while challenging the status quo
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail operations experience, ideally in beauty, fragrances, or luxury fashion environments
- Demonstrated experience with advanced analytics to optimize operational processes and visibility
- Proficiency in retail inventory management, luxury supply chain principles, and related software platforms
- Understanding of data architecture, data flow, and user acceptance testing (UAT) methodologies
- Expertise with POS systems, inventory management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles, PowerBI, Photoshop, and system gap resolution
- Experience digitalizing end-to-end processes and driving operational efficiencies through analytics and technology
- Ability to work a full-time schedule with flexibility for varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Availability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Must be available to work in New York City

Experience
Minimum 3 years of retail operations experience, ideally with exposure to beauty and fragrances, vertical retail, direct-to-consumer models, and/or luxury fashion environments. Experience working with multinational parent companies is advantageous.
