Assistant Manager, HR Controlling at LVMH Beauty (Parfums Christian Dior) — New York; hybrid HR FP&A role focused on budgeting, workforce planning and people analytics.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support annual, bi-annual and monthly HR budgeting, forecasting and workforce/headcount planning across multiple brands and shared-services entities.
  • Bridge forecasts and budgets to actual P&L outcomes; advise HRBPs and finance partners on risks and opportunities related to staff costs and expenditure control.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to inform people-investment decisions and optimize cost / headcount trade-offs.
  • Manage HRIS data integrity and headcount records; oversee budgeting inputs for severance, expatriate packages and other people-related expenses.
  • Design, maintain and distribute HR dashboards and key reports (Monthly Headcount, Diversity & Demographic Analysis, Employee Costs, Turnover, Equity Analysis).
  • Synthesize multiple data sources to identify trends, explain variance and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Serve as day-to-day liaison with local and global Finance, Maison HR and LVMH Inc. teams.
  • Partner with Payroll and HRIS teams to implement data changes in the UltiPro pay system and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Support development and delivery of HR projects and programs, fostering a test-and-learn approach to measurement and process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably with demonstrable experience in workforce/people-cost planning.
  • Solid knowledge of finance and HR concepts including P&L, balance sheet, accruals, payroll and HRIS processes.
  • Advanced analytical capability with experience consolidating and reconciling complex datasets from multiple sources.
  • Proven experience building dashboards and running routine and ad-hoc reporting packages.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; proven ability to influence cross-functional partners.
  • Organizational self-management with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
