Christian Dior Couture seeks an Assistant HR Manager in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Manage recruitment, performance, compensation, and employee engagement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to recruit and develop the local team, including office and retail headcount planning, end-to-end recruitment processes, and training and orientation for new employees
- Review and align job descriptions for all positions in collaboration with hiring managers
- Develop and implement strategies to attract, motivate, and retain talent while advising on organizational structure, workforce planning, and compensation and benefits policies
- Lead HR initiatives and programmes to position the organization as an employer of choice
- Develop and deploy employee engagement programmes to drive performance and create a winning culture
- Manage annual performance reviews, salary reviews, and promotion cycles
- Coach and provide guidance to managers on performance management, including performance coaching, disciplinary action, and performance improvement plans
- Support staff transitions and exits when necessary
- Conduct salary and benefits benchmarking exercises with regional teams to establish and maintain competitive reward structures
- Develop, review, and enhance reward policies to ensure compliance and relevance
- Prepare budget submissions twice per year and generate monthly workforce statistics reports
- Forecast staffing and event costs and coordinate with finance for budget approval
- Monitor vendor compliance and procurement within budgetary constraints
- Provide timely costing forecasts and drive cost-saving initiatives
- Organize staff engagement events and benchmark processes against industry best practices
- Execute continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
- University degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in HR, with at least 3 years at Assistant Managerial or managerial level in luxury retail
- Familiarity with Vietnamese labour law and strong professional networks within related industries
