Christian Dior Couture seeks Assistant Department Manager for Women's Ready-to-Wear in Monaco. Lead team, drive sales, manage luxury retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the right hand to the Department Manager in daily operations, team animation, and commercial development of the Women's Ready-to-Wear department
- Contribute to achieving and exceeding departmental sales objectives through strategic client development and relationship management
- Develop and retain a loyal clientele base including both local and international high-potential customers
- Ensure excellence in customer experience at every touchpoint throughout the in-store journey
- Coach the sales team on implementation of Dior selling standards and service protocols
- Analyze key performance indicators and deploy targeted action plans to address performance gaps
- Manage complex customer situations with discretion and ensure satisfaction resolution
- Lead, mentor, and federate the team around departmental objectives and Maison priorities
- Conduct regular field coaching to develop team competencies and individual performance
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and career development processes for department staff
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment with an emphasis on excellence
- Conduct daily briefings and communicate strategic priorities to the team
- Ensure strict compliance with Dior procedures, policies, and operational standards
- Oversee daily operations coordination and optimize staff scheduling and deployment
- Maintain rigorous inventory management and merchandise flow in collaboration with relevant departments
- Maintain impeccable presentation standards in the sales environment including merchandising and visual organization
- Ensure fluent communication with the Department Manager, Store Director, and cross-functional teams
- Identify synergies between departments and facilitate collaboration across the boutique
- Share field insights and improvement opportunities to support departmental performance
- Actively promote a culture of excellence, respect, and team spirit throughout the department
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience in sales with team animation or management responsibilities
- Significant product sensitivity and strong knowledge of luxury fashion and women's ready-to-wear
- Proximity leadership with ability to mentor and support staff development
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer service orientation
- Proven ability to drive results and manage performance metrics
- Team spirit, agility, and entrepreneurial mindset
- Fluent English; knowledge of additional language is an asset
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced luxury retail environment
