Parfums Christian Dior in Rotterdam seeks an Assistant Counter Manager to co-lead the beauty counter, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Counter Manager in driving daily business performance through monitoring KPIs, sales indicators and local action plans.
- Co-lead the counter team: coach advisors, set individual objectives, foster engagement and sustain a high-performing retail culture.
- Deliver exceptional client experiences using the D.I.O.R. service method and meet personal sales targets through expert selling and clienteling.
- Drive client acquisition and retention initiatives by executing CRM and clienteling activities in coordination with the CRM and Marketing teams.
- Support commercial activations, product launches and in-store events to maximise traffic and conversion.
- Assume full responsibility for counter operations in the absence of the Counter Manager, ensuring compliance with sales, cash, stock and operational procedures.
- Assist with stock management, visual merchandising execution, staff scheduling and administrative follow-up to maintain operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leading role, preferably within luxury beauty or cosmetics.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability objectives; comfortable working with measurable KPIs.
- Fluent in Dutch and able to communicate effectively in spoken English.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetics and the beauty category; familiarity with luxury brand standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate a team.

Experience
Minimum 3 years in retail, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant management capacity; experience in luxury beauty retail preferred.
Education
Secondary education required; tertiary education in business, retail management or a beauty-related discipline is advantageous.
