Christian Dior Couture seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager in Vancouver to lead retail operations and drive luxury sales performance. CAD $95K–$110K + bonus.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maximize daily sales performance and conversion rates; monitor and report on key commercial metrics
- Manage and inspire the sales team towards achievement of sales and clienteling objectives
- Assign, monitor, and coach sales associates on sales goals, product knowledge, and luxury service standards
- Facilitate personal customer database development through Capture Rate optimization and after-sale service protocols
- Coordinate sales promotion activities, including seasonal sales, trunk shows, and in-store contests with appropriate signage and advertising
- Participate in merchandise display preparation, applying brand merchandising concepts and guidelines with discretion
- Oversee and participate in department inventories; monitor proper pricing and minimize stock losses
- Manage merchandise transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor (RTV) processing
- Ensure staff compliance with Company policies including security procedures, cash handling, personnel practices, and record-keeping
- Open and close the boutique securely; oversee all security and operational compliance protocols
- Conduct regular store meetings to discuss performance, training outcomes, merchandising initiatives, and operational directives
- Facilitate clear communication between management and associates to resolve service, efficiency, and productivity issues
- Operate all retail systems including POS, cash registers, tag removers, and office equipment as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of retail experience in a luxury product setting
- Minimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience in luxury retail
- Strong knowledge of the luxury fashion industry with demonstrated fashion sensitivity
- Proven ability to effectively manage retail staff and achieve sales objectives
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated initiative and commercial creativity with fashion acumen
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash registers, and standard office equipment
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of retail experience in a luxury setting, with at least 1 year in a management or supervisory capacity. Demonstrated success in driving sales performance, developing retail teams, and maintaining operational excellence in a high-volume luxury retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail management certification or equivalent professional training preferred.
