Role & Responsibilities

• Increase sales and measure daily sales performance and conversion rates.
• Provide and inspire outstanding customer service.
• Help assign and monitor Sales Associates’ sales goals.
• Develop the client base.
• Participate in preparing merchandise displays and presentations, applying merchandising concepts and guidelines with independent judgment and discretion.
• Train, coach, develop, and lead Sales Associates in selling skills.
• Conduct or participate in regular store meetings covering performance, sales training, product knowledge, merchandising, and other information for management and associates.
• Facilitate communication between management and associates.
• Participate in coordinating sales promotions, including seasonal sales, trunk shows, and contests, and ensure in-store signage is used appropriately.
• Train the team to optimize Capture Rate and After Sale processes and develop personal customer databases.
• Gather merchandise for transfers, damaged goods, and returns to vendor (RTVs).
• Coordinate and participate in department inventories.
• Monitor merchandise pricing.
• Minimize stock losses.
• Oversee associate compliance with company policies and standards covering the safekeeping of company funds and property, personnel practices, merchandise handling, security, sales, and record-keeping procedures.
• Help resolve issues affecting department service, efficiency, and productivity.
• Lock and secure the boutique and oversee compliance with security procedures.
• Assist with day-to-day sales team management and uphold Christian Dior’s customer service standards throughout the boutique.
• Open and close the boutique.
• Coach, staff, schedule, merchandise, and complete inventory.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed to achieve results.
• Develop and train associates, build relationships, and make effective use of associates’ skills.
• Manage sales staff toward sales and clienteling objectives.
• Manage boutique operations, including attendance, merchandising, and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain fair and consistent workforce standards.
• Adjust priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, listen attentively, understand information, and provide instructions to associates.
• Operate equipment required for the role, including POS systems, PC, phone systems, cash register, sensor-tag remover, and other office equipment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of retail experience, preferably including at least 1 year of management experience in a luxury product setting.
• Demonstrated initiative and commercial creativity, with fashion sensitivity.
• Strong knowledge of the luxury industry and fashion sensitivity consistent with the brand.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Availability to work the hours required to open and/or close the boutique.
• Ability to remain on the sales floor for extended periods as needed.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
