Christian Dior Couture seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager in New York. Lead sales team, manage inventory, and deliver luxury retail excellence with $115K–$120K annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Increase sales and measure sales performance and conversion rates daily
- Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers
- Assist in assigning and monitoring sales goals of Sales Associates
- Responsible for clientele development and capture rate optimization
- Participate in the preparation of merchandise displays and presentations
- Train, coach, develop, and lead sales associates in selling skills
- Conduct and participate in regular store meetings to discuss performance, sales training, product knowledge, and merchandising
- Facilitate proper communication between management and associates
- Participate in the coordination of sales promotion activities including seasonal sales, trunk shows, and contests
- Gather merchandise for transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor
- Coordinate and participate in department inventories
- Monitor proper pricing of merchandise and minimize stock losses
- Oversee compliance with established company policies and security procedures
- Open and close the boutique
- Help solve problems affecting the department's service, efficiency, and productivity
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of retail experience, preferably with at least 1 year of management in a luxury product setting
- Strong knowledge of the luxury industry with fashion sensitivity consistent with the Christian Dior brand
- Sense of initiative and commercial creativity with fashion sensitivity
- Demonstration of own initiative and independent judgment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
