Christian Dior seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager in Los Angeles. Lead sales operations, manage team, and drive luxury retail excellence in this management role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maximize sales and measure performance and conversion rates on a daily basis
- Provide and inspire outstanding customer service aligned with brand expectations
- Assign and monitor sales goals of sales associates
- Develop and manage clientele relationships and capture rate optimization
- Train, coach, develop, and manage sales associates in selling techniques and product knowledge
- Participate in merchandise display preparation and merchandising presentations
- Conduct and participate in regular store meetings on performance, training, and product knowledge
- Facilitate proper communication between management and associates
- Coordinate sales promotion activities including seasonal sales, trunk shows, and contests
- Gather merchandise for transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor (RTVs)
- Oversee and participate in department inventories
- Monitor proper pricing and minimize stock losses
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding funds, security, merchandise handling, and record-keeping
- Lock and secure the store and oversee compliance with all security procedures
- Manage boutique operations including attendance, merchandising, and housekeeping standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of retail experience in a luxury product setting
- At least 1 year of management experience preferably in luxury retail
- Strong knowledge of the luxury fashion industry
- Fashion sensitivity and commercial creativity
- Demonstrated sense of initiative and independent judgment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-through abilities
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Availability to open and close the store as needed
- Ability to maintain presence on selling floor for extended periods
