Christian Dior Couture seeks an Assistant Boutique Manager for its Beijing SKP menswear boutique to drive sales and lead the team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and control boutique sales performance under the Boutique Manager's direction, ensuring execution of Dior's sales policy
- Maintain an ultimate luxury store ambience and visual presentation according to Dior standards, acting as a brand ambassador
- Execute Visual Merchandising guidelines to enhance merchandise display and collection prestige
- Participate in high-value sales interactions with key VIP customers and direct customers toward sales representatives
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge across all categories; coach and train team members on a daily basis
- Manage difficult customer situations professionally while adhering to company standards and procedures
- Ensure warm and elegant customer reception by all sales representatives; develop special relationships of trust with clients
- Support the Boutique Manager in building and maintaining a dense network of relationships with potential brand customers
- Maintain perfect knowledge of established customers; anticipate their expectations and product preferences
- Manage and maintain the clienteling database; ensure full utilization of the CRM system by the team
- Organize client invitations to key image events, in-store events, and trunk shows
- Participate in the recruitment of team members
- Organize integration of new team members and provide comprehensive training
- Monitor team presentation including body language, verbal communication, behavior, uniform compliance, appearance standards, and zoning observance
- Define and control task distribution; implement and monitor work schedules to balance resources with store traffic
- Assist the Boutique Manager in setting objectives and KPIs aligned with action plans
- Conduct regular performance evaluations with focus on action plan delivery
- Hold daily briefings to convey energy and focus teams on objectives and targets
- Organize regular sales representative coaching sessions; identify and address training needs
- Monitor knowledge acquisition and behavioral changes; provide constructive feedback
- Ensure proper maintenance and usage of boutique physical property
- Ensure all boutique administrative, finance, and accounting aspects align with company procedures and guidelines
- Guarantee optimal inventory organization and storage conditions
- Plan and conduct regular cycle inventory counts: high-value pieces weekly; other products monthly or quarterly based on stock volume
- Control and manage damaged goods
- Ensure proper cash desk procedures and compliance with legal, fiscal, and customs regulations
- Consolidate and analyze boutique reports for timely feedback to the Boutique Manager
- Analyze and communicate POS data and competitor information to the leadership team
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of luxury retail experience as an Assistant Boutique Manager or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills
- Distinctive service orientation and customer sense
- Business acumen and fashion sense
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (working proficiency required)

Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or related field preferred.
