Christian Dior Couture seeks an Area Visual Merchandiser in Milan to oversee VM standards, window displays and team training across the region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure Maison image standards are implemented across all boutiques in the assigned area, maintaining consistent lighting, music, video and decor for an elevated client experience.
  • Plan and execute store window installations and collection launches in line with the Visual Merchandising and Merchandising calendars.
  • Coordinate day-to-day in-store VM activities across boutiques and manage VM props, inventories and condition reporting for the area.
  • Collaborate with Retail, Operations, Merchandising, Marketing/Events and external suppliers to guarantee high-level VM execution and compliance with brand expectations.
  • Provide qualitative feedback and photo-reporting to in-store VMs following set-ups; implement changes after central or Zone VM Manager feedback.
  • Plan product rotations and assortments to maximise sell-through while respecting central guidelines; monitor boutique performance by collection and universe.
  • Deliver continuous training and coaching to boutique VMs and drive Retail Team engagement in maintaining daily image standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison between boutique retail teams and the Zone VM Manager; travel across the area as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years' experience in visual merchandising within international retail or luxury fashion contexts.
  • Business-level English required; additional languages considered advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (notably Photoshop) is a plus.
  • Availability for business travel and flexibility to work evenings or weekends when required.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong organisational and time-management skills, and a people-oriented leadership approach.
  • Demonstrable creativity and a strong interest in fashion, design and art.

Experience
