Christian Dior Couture seeks an Area Visual Merchandiser in Istanbul, Turkey to implement VM strategy, coordinate windows and train boutique teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the global visual merchandising (VM) strategy across all boutiques in Turkey, ensuring consistent Maison image standards.
- Oversee daily in-store client experience elements including lighting, music, video displays and decorative details to uphold brand ambience.
- Plan and coordinate store window fittings and collection launch installations in line with the VM and merchandising calendar.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Retail, Operations, Merchandising, Marketing/Events) and external suppliers to secure high-level VM execution and brand compliance.
- Coordinate and support in-store VM teams on daily activities, including organizing prop inventories and ensuring props are in suitable condition.
- Deliver qualitative photo-report feedback, enforce timing and quality standards for visual set-ups, and implement changes following central guidance.
- Monitor boutique performance and sell-through by collection to advise on product rotations that maximise sales while respecting central guidelines.
- Provide continuous training and engagement plans for in-store VM teams to maintain day-to-day image standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years' professional experience in visual merchandising within an international or multi-market environment.
- Business-level English required; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proven ability to train, coordinate and influence retail teams across multiple boutiques.
- Availability for frequent business travel and flexibility to work late evenings or weekends when required.
- Strong organisational skills, time management and a client-oriented mindset.
- Creative sensibility with an interest in fashion, design and art and an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving.

Experience
Minimum five years of visual merchandising experience with international exposure, including coordination of multi-boutique VM installs, launches and team coaching.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in visual merchandising, fashion, design, retail management or a related discipline preferred.
