Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyze alteration requirements by following fitter markings and technical specifications prior to commencing work
  • Disassemble garments methodically while documenting technical details to ensure accurate reassembly and adherence to original construction standards
  • Operate specialized sewing equipment including flat-lock machines, sergers, buttonholing machines, and industrial presses while maintaining equipment in optimal condition and reporting malfunctions promptly
  • Reassemble modified garments with precision, applying all alterations while verifying results align exactly with customer requests and Dior standards
  • Press and finish garments to refined perfection, conducting meticulous quality verification of each alteration to ensure flawless fit and appearance
  • Maintain workshop workspace organization and cleanliness to optimize efficiency and presentation
  • Adhere to all internal workshop procedures, alteration documentation systems, and scheduling protocols

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of verified experience in fitting and alterations within luxury retail environments
