Christian Dior Couture seeks an Alterations Specialist at its 30 Avenue Montaigne boutique in Paris. Full-time luxury tailoring role requiring 3+ years experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze alteration requirements by following fitter markings and technical specifications prior to commencing work
- Disassemble garments methodically while documenting technical details to ensure accurate reassembly and adherence to original construction standards
- Operate specialized sewing equipment including flat-lock machines, sergers, buttonholing machines, and industrial presses while maintaining equipment in optimal condition and reporting malfunctions promptly
- Reassemble modified garments with precision, applying all alterations while verifying results align exactly with customer requests and Dior standards
- Press and finish garments to refined perfection, conducting meticulous quality verification of each alteration to ensure flawless fit and appearance
- Maintain workshop workspace organization and cleanliness to optimize efficiency and presentation
- Adhere to all internal workshop procedures, alteration documentation systems, and scheduling protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of verified experience in fitting and alterations within luxury retail environments
- Technical proficiency in fabric and textile characteristics, measurement protocols, and advanced alteration techniques including assembly, construction, and patching
- Demonstrated mastery of professional pressing and finishing methods
- Fluent English language skills
- Recognized reputation for exceptional work quality and execution speed
Skills
Experience

Education
