Christian Dior Couture seeks an Accountant in Munich to manage accounting operations and financial reporting for luxury fashion operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive accounting operations including accounts payable (invoice booking, supplier payment runs, master data creation, IFRS postings) and accounts receivable (sales and payment reconciliation, intercompany reconciliations)
  • Manage cash management activities including bank reconciliations
  • Process travel expenses and general ledger postings such as payroll entries
  • Execute asset accounting functions including depreciation calculations and master data creation
  • Ensure compliance with Dior and LVMH monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing deadlines and reporting requirements
  • Produce and analyze financial reports and statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS standards
  • Support the Accounting Manager during annual audits and process improvement projects including new systems implementation
  • Provide coverage for colleagues during periods of absence

Qualifications

  • Certified accountant qualification or equivalent professional certification
  • Demonstrable knowledge of tax law and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in SAP or SAP S/4HANA
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Service-oriented mindset with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
