Christian Dior Couture seeks an Accountant in Munich (Head Office) — permanent full-time role requiring SAP, IFRS and fluent German & English.

Role & Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day accounting operations for one or several Christian Dior legal entities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Asset Accounting.
- Perform invoice booking, supplier payments, master data creation, IFRS and local GAAP postings, and payroll-related GL entries.
- Reconcile sales, payments, intercompany balances and bank accounts; manage cash-related reconciliations and travel expense processing.
- Ensure adherence to Dior and LVMH deadlines for monthly, quarterly and annual closings and support preparation of financial reports and statements under local GAAP and IFRS.
- Assist the Accounting Manager during external audits and contribute to accounting-related projects such as new process or systems implementations (e.g., ERP updates).
- Provide cover for colleagues during absences and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams (Finance, Controlling, boutiques) and external partners (suppliers, banks, auditors, tax advisors, payroll providers).
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant or degree in accounting/finance (certified accountant qualification desirable).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience with demonstrable knowledge of tax law.
- Proven experience in month-end/year-end closings and financial reporting under local GAAP and IFRS.
- Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical aptitude, a precise and structured working style, high level of commitment and reliability.
- Good communication skills and service orientation; ability to collaborate across operational teams.

Experience
At least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in a corporate finance environment, including exposure to month-end closings, external audits, IFRS reporting and use of ERP systems (SAP/S4HANA preferred).
Education
Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent; certified accountant qualification is an advantage.
