Account Executive position at LVMH's Dior in Washington D.C. responsible for territory sales strategy and team leadership in beauty retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve and exceed omnichannel sales goals based on brand strategy, market trends, and calendar priorities
- Partner with Regional Director to prioritize market decisions and implement sustainable behaviors that maximize repeat purchases and customer lifetime value
- Collaborate with Business Development Manager in key cities to accelerate CRM initiatives, brand image enhancement, premium assortment placement, and corporate objectives
- Maintain expert knowledge of all retailer CRM programs and demonstrate fluency in digital commerce programming to maximize client experience and engagement at point of sale
- Identify and cultivate stakeholder relationships in the marketplace to gather competitive intelligence and build strategic allies
- Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing counter teams, freelancers, and market leads to build sales capability
- Establish and maintain productivity thresholds for Beauty and Fragrance consultants, creating individual performance action plans aligned with targets
- Maximize productivity across specialty-multi retailers through employee engagement, advanced training, operational excellence, event execution, and freelancer team leadership
- Leverage training and events tools to create cohesive brand experiences across all retail channels and platforms
- Champion brand values while fostering creativity, innovation, and calculated risk-taking within the team
- Analyze sales performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and operational improvement gaps
- Track information for corporate roll-up worksheets on a timely basis and ensure data accuracy
- Monitor and analyze CRM performance by retailer account
- Identify and quantify market share expansion opportunities
- Manage travel and entertainment budget in accordance with corporate guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in cosmetics and beauty, including counter management, boutique management, department management, or business director experience
- Proven experience as a people manager with direct leadership of minimum 10 team members
- Demonstrated track record in recruiting, training, and developing sales personnel
- Deep understanding of leading beauty and fragrance brands and their competitive market positioning
- Strong knowledge of operating practices for key multi-brand, department store, and specialty retailers
- Valid driver's license required
- Willingness to travel to out-of-market meetings with overnight stays minimum twice yearly; some markets require 20-60% overnight travel
